PIDP 325- Self Directed Learning


Self Directed Learning:

I am an adult learning who is experiencing for her first time what “Self Directed Learning” means. It took me a while to fully accept this style and now that I understand more of its expectations I have grown to appreciate this style. I am amazed at how much information is out on their on any given topic. Through our discussion forum on this topic many of the students provided various resources to help us better understand self directed learning and its relationship to adult learning. Below are a list of some resources that have helped me to better understand Self Directed Learning. 

I especially liked this article on becoming a self directed learner.  It is a great article to start with as provides a step by step approach:
